The structures at the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex at the Second Link entry point in Johor will be redesigned and upgraded to reduce congestion, reported StarMetro.
The Second Link, which was built as an alternative entry point from Singapore into Malaysia, has seen an increasing number of users in the last decade, said Johor Women Development and Tourism Committee chairman Liow Cai Tung.
"We are looking at ways to reduce congestion at the Second Link" she told reporters after visiting the complex.
Aside from the planned upgrade, more traffic police would also be assigned to monitor the traffic at the complex, especially during peak hours, she added.
