KOTA KINABALU: A new branch of McDonald (McD) is officially open in Suria Sabah Shopping Mall. The 9th McD branch, which actually started its operation in June, is open 24 hours.

Located on the ground floor of Suria Sabah, it has 125 seats in the double-storey premises.

"Here we have 58 employees consisting of 11 managers, two customer service counters and 45 crews who will always provide the best service to our customers" said the Restaurant General Manager, Polerene Lorein Martin at the official opening ceremony yesterday.

"We also provide McCafé to cater to our coffee enthusiasts.”

"McCafé allows of McDonald's customers to enjoy a premium coffee experience at great prices, as they will be able to enjoy a wide range of coffee that is made of 100% premium Arabica coffee beans and blended by the professional barista.”

McCafé also offers a side menu including muffin cake.

Various exciting events were held in conjunction with the opening including colouring competition, the special appearance of the Chief Happiness Officer, Ronald McDonald and donation of school bags and mock check to Al-Mughni Orphanage.

Also present at the event were, Minister of Community Development and Consumer Affairs Datuk Jainab Ahmad Ayid, Senior Operation Manager, Mohd Nasir Mailok, General Manager of Suria Sabah, Tan King Way and Managing Director of Suria Sabah Shopping Mall, Humphrey Tan.
