RM30million Sepanggar Sedco Factories for Bumis

The Sabah Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO) will develop 15 acres of land in Sepanggar to provide the Bumiputera community opportunities in the manufacturing sector.

SEDCO General Manager, Pengiran Saifudin Pengiran Tahir said that SEDCO is currently building 54 special factories valued at RM30million for the local community.

"This is SEDCO's commitment in ensuring that economic development in the State continues to grow and the people of Sabah enjoy its benefits.

Various plans have already been development by SEDCO and will be implemented after obtaining financial approval from the Federal and State Government.

Saifudin also added that SEDCO would continue its development projects in rural areas, stating that they had received allocation from the Unit Peneraju Agenda Bumiputera (Teraju) for such developments in Sook and Kalabakan.
