S P Setia Bhd will launch the first block of its D'Camellia affordable apartments project located at its Setia EcoHill township in Semenyih on Oct 1. The launch will take place at the Setia EcoHill Welcome Centre, as reported in The Edge Property.

The township development will see the launch of block one which houses 317 units out of the total 635 units that will be built over two 18-storey blocks.

Each unit features three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a built-up of 860 sq ft and two parking bays serving the respective unit.

Priced at RM262,000, this apartment offers a liveable environment with generous landscaping, an Olympic-length swimming pool, playground, gymnasium, badminton court and multipurpose hall.

D'Camellia is targeted for completion in the fourth quarter of 2019. Residents will also be able to enjoy access to 56 commercial shops at EcoHill Taipan which are expected to be completed in 2018.

Setia EcoHill general manager Koh Sooi Meng said in a statement that the development is suitable for first-time home buyers, young couples, fresh graduates and parents buying property for their children.

"It is great value for the investment. Furthermore, it is located in our Setia EcoHill township which is master planned as a sustainable township that promotes healthy community living, surrounded by various themed gardens, parks and waterways" he added.

Located in Semenyih, Setia EcoHill is a freehold development spanning over 673 acres and first launched in 2013. The development is flanked by the LEKAS Highway, Kajang SILK Highway, South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE), Cheras-Kajang Highway, and Lekas-EcoHill Link which is connected to the PLUS highway and LDP.

Koh noted that S P Setia's affordable apartments have garnered a strong response from the market, citing that 1,270 of such apartment units at D'Cerrum and D'Cassia launched last year had achieved an overall take-up of 96%.

"These apartments are already under construction with targeted delivery in December 2019" Koh added.
